Taiko, the first rollup for Ethereum, is bringing together leaders from the Ethereum community to discuss Ethereum scaling for the successful future of the July 1st Base Rollup Summit. The event will feature speakers such as Ethereum researcher Justin Drake, co-director of Thomas Studzak at the Ether Foundation, and Marek Orswexky, founder of Celolab.
“The summit will take place when Ethereum’s roll-up-centered roadmap is mature and the need for a robust, decentralized infrastructure is more urgent than ever,” said Teiko’s COO Joaquin Mendes.
Following the successful San Francisco debut earlier this year, the Cannes version of the Summit is expected to draw more than 600 developers, researchers and protocol architects from across the Ethereum ecosystem.
The major Ethereum projects discuss base sequence design, base pre-registration, and how Ethereum should consider its future in Layer 2.
Participants will hear from Gattaca, Ethgas, SSV Network, Openzeppelin, Avail, Nethermind, Luban, SNZ, Fabric/Commit Boost, Hashed, Starkware, Self, Boundless (Risc0), and Zerobase.
Participants share the latest trends in the base roll-up ecosystem, particularly the development and implementation of preconceptions. This is an opportunity for people participating in ETHCC to take a little time to really dig into base scaling, especially while taking that into consideration in the context of larger Ethereum developments.
As rollup continues to evolve beyond simple L2 scaling solutions into a programmable self-vable infrastructure layer, the base rollup summit represents a key checkpoint in Ethereum development. This is the space to test ideas, fake collaborations, and build the future.
