Moxie founder NeonWight outlined the platform’s strategy for combining artificial intelligence (AI) with Crypto to create a “sex capital market.”
He said the controversial concept is fundamentally financial inclusiveness and unlocking productivity for marginalized creators.
He said in an interview with cryptoslate:
“Adult creators are one of the most marginalized occupations in society. Banks refuse to provide services to them, and Visa and Mastercard charge a processing fee of 10% to 15%, as they view adult content as a legal and reputational risk.”
Neonwight details his personal experience with discrimination in banks, citing an example in which his bank blocked only payments after two transactions. The bank told him “we don’t offer payments in these types of industries.”
NeonWight provided specific data on creator revenue, reaching out to adult content creators who generate revenues of between $50,000 and $100,000 each month, converting them to $600,000 to $1.2 million in recurring revenue.
Despite these successful business metrics, creators do not have access to traditional banking services, business loans, or investment opportunities available to other entrepreneurs. Having a revenue stream fully powered through Crypto Rails addresses the decutting problems faced by adult content creators.
Shift Meta
Moxie was born as an AI agent deployed through the Virtuals protocol. Users can access Moxie’s services via the Agent Commerce protocol, commission AI-generated adult content and pay virtual tokens worth $10.
Since then, Moxie has gone through several changes. First, I left the Virtuals platform due to a policy issue. The same model of commissioned content was then applied to its own platform, but with a pre-configured model called Jenny.
As of August 12th, Moxie will provide chats that emulate real conversations. Here, Jenny sends the generated content to AI, and users can pay 400 Moxie tokens to see it.
According to NeonWight, Moxie is targeting Fans’ sole core revenue drivers. Over 80% of the platform’s $7 billion annual revenue comes from customized, one-to-one content.
He explained:
“That’s a problem for very well-known content creators because they don’t have time to split up among big fans. And there’s also the problem that as they get older, they get more taxed to do certain scenes.”
Moxie’s AI solutions allow creators to serve a larger audience while maintaining personal connections through personality-trained chatbots.
The platform uses a custom training video model previously developed by AI researchers at Alibaba. Our unique, large-scale language model creates content that allows you to create requests that you cannot personally make while maintaining authentic personality traits.
Strategic Partnerships
The platform’s partnership structure maintains human contact while expanding creative possibilities.
Moxie partnered with Model Tori Sweetie to curate AI-generated content and participate through live streaming. The goal is to ensure authentic personality expressions while enabling content categories that you may not be able to create personally.
Neon Wight said:
“One-to-one human connections are on sale now. The AI chatbot is trained based on her personality and she streams on our platform to provide fans with a different level of personality interaction.”
Martina Oliveira is the top creator of Privacy, a leading Brazilian adult content platform. She provided a perspective on the impact of AI on the adult content industry.
According to Oliveira, when asked about AI-generated adult content that could harm content creators’ revenues,
“I think the real model hurts because some content creators who didn’t record the video claim they’re already doing this. You need to be more original to get attention right now.
However, she said that AI-generated content currently has limitations on video quality, especially for explicit content.
Additionally, they may partner with platforms that generate AI content, such as Moxie, to increase productivity and test new content.
Oliveira previously worked on a platform that provided speech synthesis services that users paid for every minute for AI-generated conversations.
According to her:
“I definitely close this type of partnership. I think that’s something I’ve missed before, especially when images were generated.”
Oliveira has acknowledged potential benefits when it comes to crypto integration with platforms such as privacy and only fans, but noted the platform’s resistance to change.
She believes Crypto will be used on these sites for many years. However, Oliveira concluded:
“But it may take a long time, as the platform is reluctant to spend adding services to the site because it’s not sure if it will work.”
