September 25, 2025 — Dubai, United Arab Emirates: Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange in terms of volume and number of users, today announced the first launch of the Blockchain 100. This new annual awards ceremony aims to recognize and celebrate the most influential creators who drive blockchain education, innovation and community participation.
Blockchain 100 is intended to highlight individuals and teams who have made significant contributions to the blockchain ecosystem through education, information sharing and inspirational content. By recognizing creators across seven different categories, Binance is looking to boost the voices that have made a major impact on the industry and helped drive the wide adoption of cryptocurrency and Web3 technology.
The award will recognize 100 creators across the following categories:
Industry Advocate: Founder, entrepreneur, and content creator advocating for the Web3 ecosystem. Independent Researcher: Analysts who provide unique, detailed blockchain research. Traders: Market experts who provide insights, price analysis and trading strategies. Community Builder: Influencers who build and nurture cryptocurrency communities and DAOs. Video and Live Creator: A storyteller who creates engaging video and livestream content. Crypto Press: Journalists and media outlets reporting on blockchain in a rigorous and balanced way. Rising Star: An up-and-coming talent who shows exceptional future prospects in creating cryptographic content.
Qualified candidates should be individuals who produce primarily educational or inspirational crypto-related content, heading into public without any major issues, and have at least 10,000 followers on at least one major social platform, such as X, YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Telegram, Discord, Binance Square, and CoinMarketCap.
Blockchain 100 features a transparent, community-driven selection process, including:
Public Recommendations: Opens from September 25th to October 12th, 2025 (UTC), anyone can nominate creators, including self-recommendations and recommendations on behalf of the community, projects and businesses. Community Voting: From October 15th to October 26th, 2025 (UTC), finalists will be presented for the popular vote at Binance Square. Verified Binance users can vote once a day per category. Final Results: Winners will be announced on November 3, 2025 (UTC). Awards Ceremony: The in-person awards ceremony will be held on December 3, 2025 during Binance Blockchain Week in Dubai, with recipients receiving their engraved medals and participating in a limited edition event.
