For three consecutive years, Zagreb has hosted the largest financial and technology conference in this part of Europe and the most valuable startup competition in the region.
The next conference to be held on March 11-12, 2026 will feature Mastercard, Monri, ASEE, Croatia osiguranje, LAQO, Robotiq, A1, OTP Bank, Nexi, HPB, Electrocoin, Erste Supported by the region’s leading FinTech brands including banka, Intercapital, NLB, RBI, WebID and more, visitors can look forward to an all-new Startup Pavilion. A two-day startup-focused program with the largest prize pool to date. In addition to financial technology-focused solutions, this year’s competition will also include AI-based solutions.
Record interest in Money Motion startup competition
It’s only been a few weeks since applications opened, but we’ve already received a record number of applications. Teams that have not yet applied have time to do so until the end of January. The 4th Money Motion Startup Competition welcomes ideas from the FinTech and artificial intelligence fields, including AI applications in financial services and other complementary industries.
Most valuable prize pool ever
The best teams will be awarded prizes of over 60,000 euros. From all submitted applications, an expert selection committee will select 10 finalists. Finalists will take to the Startup Stage on the first day of the conference to present to an enthusiastic audience and a rigorous panel of judges.
The top three teams, announced by the organizers and judges on the second day of the conference, will receive a cash prize of 10,000 euros and a number of partner prizes.
These include an exhibitor slot in the Expo Zone at the next conference, $40,000 in platform credits for services like Infobip and Amazon Web Services, and entry into Fundraising Bootcamp, one of the most popular and successful fundraising training programs, as well as additional prizes to be announced in the coming weeks.
Return of judges by top experts
Six experts with extensive international market experience will evaluate the ten selected ideas. Each is presented as a three-minute pitch.
Andrea Čordaš (Hellen’s Rock) brings significant expertise in assessing business strategies and project feasibility. Francois Mazoudier (Fundraising Bootcamp) provides important insights into preparing for fundraising and investing. Iva Rakočević (Elevator Ventures) contributes deep expertise in corporate venture investing. Sabrina Tharani (Mastercard) will be key in assessing the market potential and scalability of FinTech solutions. Silvije Radišić (AYMO Ventures) provides a strong venture capital perspective. Cosmin Ochisor (Gapminder) will focus on growth potential and global relevance.
Their combination of international experience and deep understanding of the FinTech and AI landscape will ensure that the finalists with the strongest global potential come out on top.
