NGRAVE, the Belgium-based technology company known as the world’s only cold wallet solution with EAL7-designed security, has completed a strategic reorganization.
A group of long-term investors, including Lydian Group, founded by the founders of Mangrove Capital, have acquired the company’s core assets with the ambition to propel NGRAVE into its next phase of rapid growth. Lydian Group is one of the largest conglomerates in the industry, active in media, infrastructure provision and trading, serving more than 20 million customers each month and transacting more than US$50 billion annually.
The new ownership plans to build on NGRAVE’s existing technology infrastructure and product line, as well as its large international customer base. The goal is to grow assets protected by NGRAVE solutions from approximately USD 1.5 billion today to USD 10 billion by 2026-2027.
The core technology, including our proprietary firmware, operating system, cryptographic stack, and GRAPHENE backup solution, remains intact and has been rigorously tested with zero security incidents to date.
“This new structure allows us to maintain our years of innovation while operating on a foundation that enables us to grow exponentially,” said Quentin Glatman, Chairman of the Board. “Security, long-term value creation and organizational reliability remain at the core of our strategy and efforts.”
NGRAVE co-founder Ruben Mele, who was responsible for the original vision, the development of all patented technology, and the sale of a wallet that today can secure USD 1.5 billion worth of crypto assets, has returned to his original role as CEO and said, “This new chapter allows us to double our self-custody capacity. Our goal is to make institutional-grade security available to all crypto holders.”
The company will remain headquartered in Belgium and maintain its existing partnerships with industry, technology and institutional stakeholders.
