The former LA sheriff’s deputy had just pleaded guilty to several crimes and acted as the enforcer of a larger crypto corruption scheme. He abused his authority to force victims on behalf of his employer.
The incident in question took place in 2021, but this remains an important breakthrough for criminals. The agent in question could face in prison for more than 20 years.

Two months ago, the self-proclaimed “Crypto Godfather” made headlines with the infamous crime ring, recruiting LA sheriff’s deputies to act as muscles in the cipher terr scheme. The operation only suffered another blow as one of the agents in question pleaded guilty to corruption charges.
“Michael David Coberg, 44, of Eastvale, pleaded guilty to two counts of information he charges for intrigue and conspiracy to commit a terror over rights. He was later employed as a deputy LASD and a helicopter pilot, according to his judicial agreement.
The report details many offensive code crimes that Coberg and other LA sheriff’s deputies took part in. “The Godfather” plans to pay $20,000 a month for his services and open another side to selling anabolic steroids. But mostly he acted as an enforcer.

In 2021, Coberg clearly took the lead by luring the victim to force him to $127,000. Several security guards also promoted the crime, but Coberg identified himself as an active law enforcement officer in order to further increase his height. He transported the victim, confiscated his passport and threatened him with firearms for two days.
As the case shows, Coberg’s position as a deputy for the LA Sheriff has made his code crime even more possible. He and another corrupt deputy lieutenant conspired to arrest one horror victim on false accusations.
Specifically, they had one quasi-arbitration in a vehicle with a target and carried the drugs into the vehicle. They then persuaded another officer that the criminal accomplice was in fact the informant, claiming that the victim was the owner of these drugs. The officer then arrested the victim of the Frightor, and the “Code Godfather” saw it from close up.
In the case of these disturbing code crimes, this LA sheriff’s aide will face at least 20 years in prison. He only pleaded guilty to these two crimes and he may be able to reach a plea deal to shorten his time. Still, his day of fraud should be over.
