Bitget, the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchange and web3 company, accelerated the energy of the Catalonian Grand Prix in Barcelona, Spain, combining speed, spectacle and seamless web3 activity over the race weekend from September 5th to 7th.
Following the official launch of the partnership at the Italian Grand Prix and the energizing German Grand Prix in July, Bitget has given Barcelona a full throttle. With a 360° fan booth experience set inside the Circuit de Barcelona Catalña, fans tried out the pro-grade MotoGP simulators, took part in interactive challenges, filming their own “count” moments next to legendary and real-world machines. Bitget’s Booth was an unmistakable hub of speed, smart trading and motorsport when it came to crypto culture.

On the Catalunya GP, MotoGP icon Jorge Lorenzo kicked off Bitget’s Smarter Speed Challenge. Designed as a Global Play-to-Win Campaign to run by mid-November, the challenge allows users to compete in virtual races, accumulate leaderboard points and unlock rewards such as the Motogue 2026 VIP Pass. The outstanding winner of the Catalunya campaign won a full pay trip to meet Jorge himself this October at Token 2049 in Singapore.

Throughout the weekend, Bitget partnered with top motorsport personalities and content creators to create a unique digital meet track experience. From famous MotoGP commentator Nico Abad to content creators like Christine GZ, Rubén Xaus, Rotren and Ubietoo, Buzz extends far beyond the racecourse. Fans who participated in the gift recorded exclusive access to Virtual MotoGP™ 2025 Game Championship, GP tickets and meeting and greet with Motorsport Legends.
“The spirit of MotoGP is to push the limits technically, mentally and emotionally. That same spirit is what I want to drive Bitget and bring it back to life in Catalunya.” “We’re not just promoting here. We’re here to create something memorable, fun and rewarding that makes the future of finance feel as exciting as the final rap.”
The energy from fans throughout the race weekend reflects Bitget’s wider mission. Crypto culture is accessible, playful and deeply integrated with real-world passions. From Jorge Lorenzo’s presence in the VIP lounge to his fan trading march and storyline, this was more than just a Grand Prix. It was the weekend when the future of finance came across the roaring of the truck.
The race may be over, but the challenge is just getting hot. Bitget’s Smarter Speed Challenge is still live and the leaderboard is wide open. Daily check-in, virtual wraps and big prizes await the contenders for the next round.
