Gate, one of the world’s leading crypto trading platforms, has officially launched GateAI, its new AI-powered market intelligence assistant. The product is positioned as the industry’s first AI investment support tool built with fact-based principles at its core, and aims to help users more efficiently interpret market movements in an increasingly information-dense environment.
GateAI is fully integrated into the Gate app version 8.2.0 and above and can be accessed through a floating icon on the homepage, sidebar shortcuts, as well as key usage scenarios such as homepage token search, spot candlestick charts, and community feeds.
GateAI is developed based on the engineering philosophy of “validate first, then generate.” Rather than making final decisions, the assistant organizes and explains market-related reactions based on existing data and public information. When a user submits a query, GateAI summarizes important factors such as price movements and relevant market information, allowing users to understand what’s going on through simple questions and natural interactions. When data is insufficient or information is uncertain, GateAI explicitly states that the conclusion cannot be confirmed, avoiding speculative content. While many AI products prioritize speed of production, this design approach, which prioritizes verifiability and prudence, reflects the platform’s long-term focus on risk management and user protection.
From a product positioning perspective, the current version of GateAI focuses on a beginner-friendly experience. By lowering the barriers to understanding and structuring key information, we help new market participants build a foundational understanding and gradually become familiar with the trading environment and key decision-making factors.
From a functional design perspective, GateAI follows the framework of “Decision Support, Path Guidance, and Execution Coordination.” Based on the user’s explicit intent, it provides structured information support and practical path references, including a breakdown of market factors, risk scope indicators, and operational process guidance. For scenarios involving account assets, position changes, and P&L performance, the system analyzes both results and processes to help users understand the key influencing factors, thereby reducing cognitive costs in complex trading environments.
Looking further into the future, GateAI is positioned not just as a standalone feature, but as a comprehensive intelligent assistant across information understanding, risk awareness, and trade coordination. With user authentication, we will continue to explore deeper integration with trading workflows, aiming to enable users of different experience levels to make more efficient judgments and execute decisions in complex market situations.
Additionally, GateAI initially adopted a unified usage allocation model. Over time, tiered access plans will be introduced to align with the platform’s VIP system, providing advanced features and dedicated support to higher-tier users.
